This is a light, easy, effective floor cleaner - if you use my trick. This is to spray the floor section with a diluted cleaner before you run the Shark over it - the hardwood floors come up clean, bright and non-streaky. However, using the mop cleaner with no extra help results in a dull streaky floor.

Steam cleaning mop really stuck in the dirt and grime from the floor. I have hardwood and tile and it worked; However, when cleaning wood floors will leave a white haze (water mark) above the surface (this can vary depending on the water used. I use tap water). I bought this mop because yesterday my sister, who Cleanse houses, said that she loved it. I had to call back and ask her if she got commissions on their sales or if she just did an average job cleaning houses (she wasn 't laughing). R RWE have a three year old and several dogs. We live in the Seattle area so it has been raining a lot lately ... which means mud in the house! The mop did a fine job picking up the spots and dirt on our tile floor. I was actually really excited at first. Then I got to a spot of something sticky that I did not even see behind a chair (I did mention I had a three year old boy). It got up some of the edges, but the spot remained. Pumped on the spot and steam for about 30 pumps ... nothing. I finally got on the floor with windex and a Scrubber dish and it came up pretty quickly. Then there is the Grout ... It did absolutely nothing to clean our Grout. It is dirty in my book, but we just had these floors installed 4 days ago, so how dirty they could be if this thing is so great. R RI also wanted it for our area rugs. Be warned, the outside of the box does not tell you that it 'does not clean carpet "it just tells you that there is a carpet attachment, which I thought answered that question. They are very clear in the small and not completely informative manual that came with it (it never did tell me what I am supposed to use the frilly purple "DUST COVERS " to clean. Plus you have to change the wipe after 1 / 2 at room because it is dirty and no longer moist. A traditional mop I have to keep going back to rinse and wring. We have all seen the Filthy water you end up cleaning the last room with sound ... I am Refilling buckets and dumping it out. So the greatest benefit to the shark is that it Cleans without chemicals and the water / steam comes along with you. The pads are washable (with a lot of "rules " or you will ruin it). i will keep it, but only because it makes for a fast and easy way to do a quick job on the floor, but I am also keeping my traditional mop so that I can occasionally clean the floor well. r rif and knew then what I know now, I would have never spent over $ 100 on a Glorified swiffer .... but the swiffer is no gem either, as the chemicals which The pads are so harsh they burn my hands and they even tell you to avoid contact with your skin.

I loved the stupid machine! As simple to use. No chemistry, no fuss, no need. Unfortunately, it croaked one months after the warranty expired. My friend 's mother was delighted with the original Shark Steam MOP. She had one in Florida and had just bought one for his winter home.When I checked the reviews for the old model did not impress me, but the new model of Pocket Shark Steam Mop looked brighter. I have had the MOP for a month and have used it on both my vinyl flooring and hardwood. I was pleased so far with the performance and construction. I sweep / vacuum all my floor for the first time since most manufacterers suggest you do before cleaning to prevent scratching: when using a mop and bucket I did the same. I also always clean anywhere very sticky / dirty remnants points before and still do with steam sweep. I like that steam clean the floor dries quickly and that are clean when finished. I have light and medium tile flooring and light wood notes no lightning. I also like the different size mops. I realized after the first wash mops in the washing machine was not yet clear. The next time I washed my hands decks presoaked in a bucket with some soap for clothes the night before washing machines and that did the trick, (I wash my sheets after each use). I think the mop very easy to use and store. I do not think it would work so well on dirt or grime, but again not to buy the product for such use. I would recommend purchasing an extra set of covers RP. Both sides can be used, but may not have the time to wash the Inbetween if you have lots of floors to clean in one day. I'm very happy with my purchase so far.

T definitely easier than the old mop and bucket - especially since Don 'have to dry the floor afterwards. I used to be so tired after remnants of the large number of floors in my house - I had to take to clean the house for two days! R rmy husband and I agree that probably handmop soil ounces every 4-6 weeks with an effective disinfectant and then use the shark the other weeks in the month. We like the shark for that much better than other products Wet Jet because doesn 't leave a film and definitely clean the floor.

I purchased the steam mop because of having our house about 1400 square meters of stone, laminate, and tile. I 'd been looking at steam mops for over a year, and when I found the right price / coupon combination finally bit. Yes, you can pay too much for something. I haven 't been disappointed. I 've recently tiled most of what was once carpeted and the dust in Texas is horrible. The Shark does really good on ceramic tiles, even that nasty stuff that can collect in the bathroom. This is also recommended if you have pets, Because the steam pads do a really good job of collecting pet hairs, especially from Those Longhaired cats. The lack of chemicals also means that I 'm not sliding on the floors when they get slick.

I love the system, Shark! My entire house except the bedrooms are tiled and have 2 grandchildren and 3 dogs in and out - The Shark cleans quickly and best of all it dries quickly, before small feet and able to monitor his legs. Do not clean the linoleum floor at all. I was the floor wet with a quick clean after using the steam cleaner and was much cleaner, so it is returning to the store for a refund.

Ok I 'I had this product for a week now. I 've used 7 or 8 times and so far so good. I like what I hope will not go kaput on me. I think it works very well. My floors look cleaner than they did with the compression I used scanning. Stubborn stains get much easier. I saw an infomercial for the Shark steam mop and thought I must have it. I did some research before buying and saw it had good reviews. I had a coupon of 20% from Bed Bath and Beyond, so I bought it. RI love this product. I hate to clean. And in the past, I used the Swiffer Wet Jet for my floors. My husband hates WetJet, and although I thought it was okay, I never really felt like the floors were really clean. RI use this steam mop all the time with great results. We especially floors of ceramic tiles and hardwood. The mop cleans my puppy 's wonderful accidents. And it gets really out of the tile. Every time I run the mop on my window, it shines and looks amazing! I just recently used the mop to clean the soot and ashes from the fireplace off the ceramic after the sweeps in order. The guys were surprised to see how the MOP steam cleaned the mess! RNOW I noticed that streaks on my hardwood slightly. However, I don 't yet found a product that isn ' t my streak hardwoods.
